I don’t usually make New Year resolutions purely because no one ever takes them seriously but having reflected on 2016 I have decided on a few realistic things that I want to achieve in 2017 to make it a good one.
- RELY ON MY PHONE LESS
It has come to my attention that I spend an awful lot of time on my phone. I keep complaining about my battery draining so much and tbh it is probably just the amount of time i’m on it. I don’t actually have a place in my bag for my phone because it is either in my pocket or in my hand which is so sad. So really I’d like to detach myself from it a bit. - EXPLORE
This year I really want to make the most of the opportunities I have around me. I passed my driving test last year but haven’t fully made the most of the freedom so I am hoping for plenty more beach trips and lots of walks around the countryside. I live in the Garden of England so should probably appreciate it a bit more! - KEEP FIT/ DRINK MORE WATER
The classic New Year Resolution ahaha. I want to maintain a healthy diet and obviously still treat myself from time to time! Along with this I just want to go on more runs and do more home workout routines. As someone who doesn’t drink much I have also seen the benefits of water and am trying my very best to keep a bottle with me at all times. The wonders it has already done for my skin! - BE BRAVE
This is a general resolution for everything from fashion choices to social events. Although I hate it I am surprisingly good at pushing myself out of my comfort zone and yes it’s terrifying and stressful but I always feel so much better after it. I just need to have a bit more confidence in myself and I am going to try very hard this year to conquer that. - START SAVING AGAIN
I’ve been a bit slack putting money into my savings account since getting my job in 2015. It’s silly really but I’m glad I’ve realised and from now on I will definitely be putting aside a small amount each money to put away for the future. (Adulting woo).
