THE FOLKESTONE HARBOUR ARM

On Sunday, my family and I decided to take a trip to the coast to walk along the Folkestone Harbour Arm. Having visited on boxing day where it was wet, miserable and incredibly quiet, it was so lovely seeing it in it’s full glory on a Summer’s day.

Along the promenade is a whole host of street food from Indian to Dutch! Unfortunately when we went in December The Big Greek Bus was shut and I’ve been dying to try some of their food ever since so we just had to get some of their halloumi fries and calamari which were both delicious.

I will be definitely going back to try more of the menu! We walked the halloumi and calamari off on a little walk along the beach and then treated ourselves to more food at a fish and chip restaurant which was just as delicious but I felt like a whale after!

To finish the day we drove to the battle of Britain memorial which was nice to pay our respects and the views were so stunning.

It was honestly such a fab day especially and getting to spend some time with the fam was lovely. I highly recommend visiting both these places if you get the time!
