Last week was such an overwhelming week for me as my 3 years of hard work at university finally came to an end in the best possible way at my graduation.
Having finished in May, uni has felt like a distant memory up until last Tuesday when I officially graduated with a first class honours in Multimedia Journalism from Canterbury Christ Church. I worked so so hard to get a first from the day I started so it’s a lovely feeling for it to have all paid off.
The day was so nice and to celebrate alongside all my friends who all did amazingly is something I’ll cherish forever.
We graduated inside Canterbury Cathedral which was so stunning and very Hogwarts-like with our long gowns! I even managed to get my hat stuck on a ledge when doing the classic hat throw ahaha. So typical! Thankfully we managed to get it down with the help of a random man.
University was a lot of fun and I learnt so much but I am so excited to finally be in the adult world and put my degree to use. I have just completed a social media internship at Shepherd Neame which was so incredible and now I’m going to do some travelling before throwing myself into a full time job that I love. Here’s to the next chapter!
